Rude Stars

We have a star chart at our house.  We have a column for ASF and a column for CHF, each with their own color stars.  Every time they do something that is good (things like brushing teeth, etc.) they're to get a star.  This system is not really used.  But in theory that's how it works.  And the chart is still up on the wall.

CHF came home from school last week and he got mad about something or other.  He pointed his little finger at me and said "Mommy, you are getting a rude star."  And then proceeded to push a chair over to the star chart, get out the red stars and put them up on the chart.  Unfortunately, we laughed at this bit of sass and it is a regular fixture in our house.  Always with a little finger point and often a lecture.  I am so abominable that I have gotten TWO rude stars at once before.

What does it look like to get a rude star?  Well, funny you should ask...
