Now that ASF is a bit older and the weather is a bit nicer I've resumed trips to the mountains. Though I can't say traveling with two is easy, it's not nearly as unpleasant as I would have thought (though perhaps the other people involved in the visit may think differently).
We started the weekend with a visit to a park to see some fancy goats. They were huge. Despite the fact that these goats are a fancy breed, they still all seemed to have that dopey look about them that all goats have. Look at those teeth. Mom says they cannot bite, but I am not convinced.
CHF was reluctant to get near the goats (no wonder, they were massive). But Uncle Patrick helped him.

The goats weren't a big hit, but throwing rocks into the pond was. After trekking down a hill to get this big rock and throwing it (it's right in the middle of the screen - maybe a finger-tips length from Patrick's hands) CHF looked at Patrick very nonchalantly and said "Again."
It wouldn't be an outing without CHF looking at me suspiciously.
Where was ASF during all this you might ask? Sleeping and being cute.
Out back at Mimi's house. Notice the stone in the right hand. Those are fancy river stones my parents bought as part of their landscaping and it is great fun to take those rocks and toss them into the creek in the back. And then say "Again".
