Yesterday was a perfect fall day. It was also my day to sleep in, so that made it even better.
Once CHF got up from his 1 1/2 hour (almost a record!) morning nap, he did not want to get dressed in his nice new 18 month size clothes.

But eventually we got him semi-dressed (who needs pants?) and he decided the bookshelves in the office needed some re-orginization. Certain books also needed to be tasted.

The we all went for a walk and enjoyed the fall weather.

And hung out in the yard while CHF practiced standing. He's doing well and will let go more frequently and for longer periods of time.

After a 2 plus hour afternoon nap, a few errands and an outfit change due to an unpleasant incident we made dinner. Notice our makeshift baby gate. He doesn't like the playpen at all, but at least it gets some use.

And of course there was mischief to be made.

Finally, bedtime. This is his new trick when the side of the crib is down. What you don't see here is that he'll move his leg in a climbing motion in an attempt to bust out of the crib.

A view from behind of the Christmas pjs. They'll be too small by Christmas.
